The journal article of title "Boiling heat transfer performance enhancement using micro and nano structured surfaces for high heat flux electronics cooling systems" of Sabancı University Mechatronics Engineering Ph.D. student Abdolali Khalili Sadaghiani, which was co-authored by Nawzat S. Saadi, Sorour Semsari Parapari, Tansel Karabacak, Mehmet Keskinoz, Ali Koşar and is the output of his research conducted in  Sabanci University Nanotechnology and Applications Center (SUNUM) ve Center of Excellence for Functional Surfaces and Interfaces for Nano diagnostics (EFSUN) , was recently published in Applied Thermal Engineering, one of the most prestigious journals in Thermal Sciences field. This article attracted much attention of the Energy Technologies community so that it was selected to the Key Scientific Featured Articles List of this week in the website of Renewable Energy Global Innovations, which alerts the scientific community to breaking journal articles considered to be of importance to the progress in energy technologies, among peer reviewed and published scientific papers in more than 5000 journals.  In this article, it has been found that structured surfaces have a better heat removal capacity in comparison to the bare surface. This is good evidence that micro-structured, nano-structured and micro-nano-structured plates can be implemented in innumerable cooling applications to achieve higher energy efficiency.
